TimeSeries is a fast-growing software company that delivers smart, user friendly low-code applications to our clients. We are a preferred Siemens partner for its Low-code app platform, Mendix, and have a global presence with offices in Montreal (CAN), Boston (USA), Denver (USA), Munich (DE), Rotterdam (NL) and Utrecht (NL). TimeSeries is looking for talented Account Executives for its market in The Netherlands, USA and Canada.
As an Account Executive you are focused on driving sustainable revenue by generating, qualifying, and closing opportunities related to the Mendix Platform, the TimeSeries Smart App templates, solutions, and related services. You will actively work with Siemens and Mendix (ecosystem) to mutually drive opportunities. This role involves a great deal of a proactive mindset, independency as well as (prospective) customer engagement.
You will be working closely with the Sales team, including the Chief Sales Officer North America, as well as the extended marketing and services team in Europe and North America.
- Qualifying and closing opportunities
- Identifying repeatable sales plays and optimizing account-based plans and prospecting campaigns
- Sharing differentiating value drivers and working on clear return on investment proposals
- Communicating with both technical as well as business leaders and aligning their evaluation
- Working with the business development and marketing team to develop and execute data-driven lead marketing and business development campaigns and programs, including webinars and events, emails.
- Define market opportunities and go-to-market plans with sales, including mapping target personas, challenges, and unique value drivers
- Joint business development and sales efforts with current and future partners, including Mendix/Siemens
What we’re looking for

- You have a passion for new technologies, in particular smart, innovative and creative web and mobile apps and/or application/software development
- You communicate well, have a winner’s mentality, and like to work within a dynamic team!
- You take initiatives and would like to be challenged to grow, expand your skillset and are not afraid to make mistakes
- You desire working with an incredible talented team and have a drive to support and enable exponential growth
- You have previously worked within an inside sales or business development team, made the jump to a closing role as an Account Executive, and are now ready to take your growth to another level with more independency
- You have completed a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and have a passion for IT and software.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in business development and sales after College
- CRM experience (experience with Pipedrive or Salesforce is preferred)
- An excellent writer and communicator
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and frameworks such as Sandler selling and New Solution selling
- Preferably domain expertise in the Manufacturing, Medical Device, Energy/Utilities, Power/Oil and Gas, Automotive, Marine and/or Aerospace industry
